ABSTRACT
Abstract Background/Objectives The Vulval disease Quality of Life Index (VQLI) is a new tool that assesses the burden vulval on quality life (QoL). Our objective was to assess correlation between VQLI score and clinician‐rated severity scores, overall patient itch/discomfort, duration, sexual activity, age, in lichen sclerosus (VLS) at disorders clinic. Methods A retrospective case note review, including consecutive women with VLS who attended clinic April October 2018. Outcome measures include score, symptom score. Results total 109 were included. On multivariable analysis, there evidence positive relationship scores (mean increase per unit clinician 1.34, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.31, 2.38; P = 0.01); stronger for cutaneous component. There little relationships patient’s activity or time since onset symptoms. strong itch/discomfort 2.38, CI 1.88, 2.88; < 0.001). New follow‐up data obtained sequential visits 12 women, among whom dropped mean −2.75 points (95% −6.05, 0.55; 0.094). Conclusion correlates impact QoL. captures information included which can be easily incorporated into routine assessment.
