ABSTRACT
Problem Prokineticin 2 ( PK 2), a pro‐inflammatory peptide, is highly expressed in primary spermatocytes. However, systematic research on and testicular inflammation lacking to date. Method of study An experimental autoimmune orchitis EAO ) model was established detect the expression its receptor (prokineticin 1, PKR 1) 50 80 days after immunization. si RNA sequence injected into rat rete testis downregulate 2. over‐expressed by injecting protein through at different concentrations. Testicular morphology inducible nitric oxide synthase iNOS were detected intervention. Results showed that 1 upregulated downregulated days. over‐expression contributed apoptosis spermatogenic epithelial cells increased infiltration inflammatory cells, whereas under‐expression no change. Furthermore, significantly when over‐expressed. Conclusion This finding demonstrated 2/ signals may have an essential role regulation . interference represent novel promising therapeutic strategy for clinical management orchitis.
