ABSTRACT
Rhinitis is an umbrella term that encompasses many different subtypes, several of which still elude complete characterization. The concept phenotyping, being the definition disease subtypes on basis clinical presentation, has been well established in last decade. Classification rhinitis entities phenotypes facilitated their characterization and helped practicing clinicians to efficiently approach patients. Recently, endotypes, is, underlying pathophysiology, emerged. Phenotypes/endotypes are dynamic, overlapping, may evolve into one another, thus rendering clear-cut definitions difficult. Nevertheless, a phenotype-/endotype-based classification could lead toward application stratified personalized medicine field. In this PRACTALL document, endotypes described, diagnosis management approaches focusing those phenotypes/endotypes presented discussed. We emphasize control-based management, transcends all subtypes.
