ABSTRACT
Elements are vital in airway mucosal physiology and pathology, but their distribution levels the mucosa remain unclear. This study uses state-of-the-art nuclear microscopy facility to map quantify multiple elements histology sections of nasal from patients with polyps or inverted papilloma. Our results demonstrate that P Ca most abundant distinct difference between epithelial subepithelial regions; more importantly, our reveal decreased amounts Cu Zn remodeled epithelium as compared normal epithelium. These findings suggest may be beneficial targets regulate aberrant remodeling inflammation.
