ABSTRACT
Amino acids seem to be crucial components for semen freezing extender due antioxidant properties. Therefore, this study aimed assess motility parameters, membrane integrity, intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS), mitochondrial potential (MMP) and DNA damage detect the optimum concentrations of cysteine glutamine buffalo cryopreservation. Twenty ejaculates four bulls were diluted in tris-egg yolk divided into seven equal groups consisting (5, 7.5 10 mmol), (10, 15 20 mmol) no additive. Supplementation 5 mmol cryopreservation significantly increased post-thaw plasma integrity spermatozoa with significant reduction ROS when compared control (P < 0.05). Cysteine at concentration elevated progressive MMP, No differences observed motion patterns frozen–thawed containing amino acids. The findings showed that supplementation has more decrease ROS, subsequently elevate spermatozoa.
