ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the frequency of postintervention arrhythmia and factors associated with development arrhythmia, including correlation between P-wave dispersion, effects latter on transcatheter closure atrial septal defects (ASDs).Holter ECG recordings were performed before after intervention 6 12 months later in 47 59 patients who had undergone ASD once healthy control subjects.A statistically significant was identified patients' grade according Lown's system each following: number defects, size atrioventricular valve rim, presence an aneurysm. The increases closure, gradually decreases within next year, is most frequently a benign nature. grading occluded either Amplatzer occluder (ASO) or Cardio-O-Fix (CSO) compared, higher latter. One day intervention, P maximum (Pmax ) dispersion(Pdis values not increased but fact slightly reduced ASO CSO. An improvement electrical resulting from early anatomical mechanical healing following occlusion may explain reduction Pmax Pdis values.
