ABSTRACT
A 56-day feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the potential use of faba bean meal (FBM) as a partial replacement soybean (SBM) in commercial diets for juvenile grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) with initial average weight 3.39 ± 0.03 g. Five isonitrogenous and isoenergetic were formulated replace SBM by FBM protein at 0, 150, 300, 450 600 g kg−1 (designated FBM0, FBM15, FBM30, FBM45 FBM60, respectively). The results indicated that up 420.3 can be used without negative effects on growth feed utilization. higher level would result retardation. apparent digestibility intestinal enzymes activities significantly decreased increased dietary FBM, lowest value observed diet FBM60. No significant differences detected contents whole body, muscle liver tissues among all treatments. Intraperitoneal fat index lipid body FBM. Serum antioxidant affected level, found Results this study successfully carp, optimum basis maximum gain.
