ABSTRACT
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects different phospholipids (PL) and cholesterol (CH) levels on growth, moulting fatty acid composition juvenile swimming crab, Portunus trituberculatus. Six diets were designed contain three PL (0, 10 20 g/kg) two CH (2 8 g/kg). Juvenile crabs (3.48 ± 0.02 g/crab) reared for weeks. weight gain (WG) significantly (p < .05) increased by supplementation g CH/kg diet. However, no significant interaction between dietary found growth performance > .05). frequency (MF), protein efficiency ratio (PER) feed (FCR) not affected treatments. serum total (TCH) with increasing level. C20:4n-6 C20:5n-3 content whole body addition diet containing 2 g/kg An observed certain saturated unsaturated concentrations body.
