ABSTRACT
The present study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary sodium butyrate on growth performance, intestine enzyme activities and intestinal proliferation-related gene expression juvenile golden pompano Trachinotus ovatus. A basal diet supplemented with at 0.0 (control), 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2 4 g/kg feed for 8 weeks. final body weight, weight gain (WG), specific rate (SGR) condition factor (CF) increased increasing up 2.0 g/kg, thereafter declined, while conversion ratio exhibited an opposite trend. Compared control, group had higher significantly (p < 0.05). Whole ash decreased level, lowest whole content in 4.0 plasma glucose, cholesterol, albumin A/G ratio, ALT AST contents 0.05), ALT/AST As digestive brush border enzymes activities, compared groups protease, amylase, AKP Na+-K+-ATPase respectively. relative level CDX2 mRNA fish level. CREB In conclusion, these results suggested that optimum could be diet.
