ABSTRACT
A feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the results of replacing soybean meal (SBM) with other blend plant protein (BP) (rapeseed meal, cottonseed and peanut meal) sources on growth, fish body composition, biochemical parameters, non-specific immune index gene expression growth hormone/insulin-like factor-1 in Yellow River carp Cyprinus carpio. The showed that 600 g/kg replacement BP diet did not affect performance carp, but 800 SBM could depress (p < .05). significantly impacted superoxide dismutase, malondialdehyde contents, lysozyme, alanine aminotransferase aspartate activities Fish fed lowest insulin-like factor 1 highest hormone level than diets Both levels GH IGF-I hepatic significant difference among dietary treatments .05), mRNA liver were found In conclusion, no more be replaced by without adverse effects performance. However, inhibited performance, affected some blood parameters response index, down-regulated IGF-1 carp. Further, serum negatively correlated liver; meanwhile, concentrations positively expressions.
