ABSTRACT
Abstract Pump thrombosis potential exists in most blood pumps and limits their clinical use. To improve the pump performance of pumps, a method for emulating platelet deposition on flow passage component surfaces inside was presented tested. The emulates deposition, employing laser‐induced fluorescence tracing technology. rotated mock circulation loop with deionized water filled fluorescent particles. were then explored via laser. particles induced by laser imaged charge‐coupled device (CCD) camera to show distribution gathering surfaces. activated emulated particle gathering. experiment showed obvious interface cross‐sectional surface (perpendicular flow). This estimation (PDE) can be easily incorporated vitro testing phase analyze decrease pump’s before animal experimentation, thereby reducing cost development. methodology indicates its improving structure pumps.
