ABSTRACT
Tissue engineering utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to generate constructs for the treatment and repair of diseased organs. Generation small vessels as vascular grafts or envisioned central vessel vascularized is still a challenge. Here, decellularization porcine by non-detergent based protocol was developed investigated. Perfusion-decellularization with sodium hydroxide solution resulted in removal cellular material throughout whole length while preserving structural mechanical integrity. A re-endothelialization retrieved matrix human umbilical vein endothelial cells cardiac achieved through rotation-based seeding employing custom-made bioreactor. confluent monolayer detected on entire luminal surface. Thus, non-detergent-based method allowing surface this study, thereby paving way future implementation resulting construct graft tissue engineered need perfusion system readily available anastomosis sites.
