Self‐reported physical activity and sedentary behaviour amongst adolescents in Sweden vary depending on sex, age and parental education

ABSTRACT
Abstract Aim The aim of this study was to investigate self‐reported physical activity and sedentary behaviour by sex, age parental education in a large representative sample Swedish adolescents. Methods This is based on data from the national dietary survey Riksmaten Adolescents, which conducted Food Agency 2016–2017. In total, 3477 students grade five (11–12 years), eight (14–15 years) eleven (17–18 were included. A web questionnaire used collect information about behaviour. Results 53% reported active transport school, 93% that they usually participate education, 76% physically leisure time, 66% participated organised activities. addition, 12% 6% two hours or less screen time weekdays weekends, respectively.
