ABSTRACT
Abstract The present study aims to develop and validate a measurement scale for investigating the principle of intercooperation, in order provide researchers field cooperativism with valid reliable measure. To this end, four main steps were followed: conceptual mastery, theoretical validation, semantic statistical validation. First, preliminary was developed based on literature review interviews 20 representatives cooperatives representative organizations. Later, evaluation carried out by eight academic judges analyzed using Content Validity Coefficient. A pre‐test then subjects from population, subsequently applied sample 213 cooperatives. Finally, factor analysis performed aim evaluating convergent factorial validity as well individual construct reliability. Thus, it is proposed that intercooperation be measured two different scales. first, called “Horizontal Intercooperation”, presented Composite Reliability equal 0.81 Average Variance Extracted 0.68. second, “Vertical 0.96 0.69. After analyses, scales showed signs
