ABSTRACT
The metabolic responses of different colour strains Ruditapes philippinarum in terms oxygen consumption and ammonia excretion to changes temperature (15–35°C) salinity (20–40) were investigated. In our range temperatures (15–35°C), rate (OCR) increases cultivated (White Zebra) opposition the effect wild strain which reach a maximum at 25°C. highest Q10 coefficients 2.741 for zebra strain, 4.326 white 1.944 25–30, 30–35 20–25°C respectively. (20–40°C), OCRs firstly decreased lowest level 25 30, then increased 35 40 When is beyond 35, OCR turning point was found wild, but still (1.906 mg g−1 h−1) (P < 0.05). These results show that R. from responses, information on its response have implications aquaculture industry.
