ABSTRACT
Enhancing the aerobic stability of silage is very important in production. The objective this study was to compare roles a new bacterial strain Lactobacillus parafarraginis ZH1 with plantarum Chikuso-1 (LP) and buchneri NCIMB 40788 (LB) improving oat identify anti-yeast substances produced by them. After ensiled for 45 days, either inoculated silages or control were pH values lower than 4.2. LP had poorer LB ones (p < 0.05). more acetic acid, benzoic acid hexadecanoic one best In MRS medium, strains, 0.05), equal amount > addition, low minimal inhibitory concentrations target yeasts pure culture. conclusion, L. stronger potential effectively improved other strains used study.
