ABSTRACT
Background In Italy both the consumption of antibiotics and prevalence bacterial resistance are higher than in other European countries. 2017, first National Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance (PNCAR) was adopted Italy. response to PNCAR two national reports antibiotic use human setting have been published. This article's aim is describe pattern community from 2013 2018. Methods To analyse for reimbursed dispensed by pharmacies different data sources were used. Consumption measured terms defined daily dose (DDD), prescriptions or use. Results 2018, amounted 16.1 DDD per 1000 inhabitants day.
