ABSTRACT
This study investigated whether conformal radiotherapy affects hepatitis B virus (HBV) reactivation, and the risk factors for HBV reactivation in patients with HBV-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Sixty-nine HCC were included this retrospective study. Before (RT), all underwent imaging examinations some baseline examinations, including CBC, liver function test, renal α-fetoprotein level, (HB) surface antigen, HB Ab, e serum DNA quantification. During period of RT at least 16 weeks after end RT, CBCs carried out weekly other tests monitored monthly or more frequently if necessary. The clinical features dosimetric parameters recorded. Univariate multivariate logistic regression algorithms used to analyze reactivation. incidence complications population was as follows: radiation-induced disease, 17.4%; 24.6%; reactivation-induced hepatitis, 21.7%. level dose volume normal volume, V20, mean associated There a relatively high RT. related liver, dose, prognosis should be carefully considered before
