ABSTRACT
To determine the incidence of full thickness macular hole in Tasmanian population.A whole population retrospective case series Tasmania, Australia.Patients diagnosed with (confirmed by optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging) both idiopathic and secondary causes were identified from April 2005 to 2011 a sole vitreoretinal surgeon servicing Tasmania.
