ABSTRACT
Abstract Purpose To evaluate the long‐term aesthetic outcome of single crowns supported by soft tissue level implants placed in healed sites anterior maxilla region via pink score ( PES ) and white WES ). Material methods According to inclusion criteria, patients who had received a Straumann ® Standard Plus implant at Shanghai 9th People's Hospital between 2005 2008 were invited for re‐examination based on number criteria exclusion criteria. Clinical, radiographic outcomes / assessed during their revisit 5–8 years after crown placement. Results Forty‐five enrolled study. All 45 successfully integrated most did not show signs peri‐implant disease time assessment. The marginal bone resorption was 1.10 ± 0.92 mm. mean total 8.48 2.62 baseline, 9.57 2.37 6–10 months 9.01 2.45 follow‐up. scores mesial distal papillae increased significantly baseline follow‐up, this improvement remained stable level, colour tissue, texture alveolar process decreased 5‐8 revisits. 7.83 1.60 7.72 1.43 revisit. There no significant difference Conclusion possibility spontaneous regeneration treatment stability regenerated confirmed. However, recession facial has been found. incidence thin biotype tended be higher.
