ABSTRACT
Summary The Impact of Weight on Daily Activities Questionnaire (IWDAQ) is a patient‐reported outcome measure that uses novel, adaptive design to assess the limitations in daily activities are most important individuals attempting lose weight. During first round completing IWDAQ, respondents presented with 18 everyday can be limited by excess weight and asked choose three they would like see improve loss. They then rate degree limitation experience these at baseline follow‐up assessments. Using data from weight‐management clinical trial (OASIS 1, NCT05035095), we evaluated IWDAQ's measurement properties, determined optimal scoring, estimated thresholds meaningful within‐patient change. Our analyses demonstrated IWDAQ Composite Score offers reliable valid personalized due ensures patient‐centricity measure, thereby complementing existing measures functioning context trials. Evaluations using additional studies valuable extending psychometric evidence for IWDAQ.
