ABSTRACT
Abstract Aim The aim of this study was to validate the clinical quality database Danish Colorectal Cancer Group. validation is meant focus on core data regarding staging disease, treatment provided, patient‐related factors and key complications. Method This a assessing completeness accuracy by re‐entering variables into an online module in blinded fashion comparing re‐entered with original data. A sample 5% patients from years 2014–2017 randomly selected. Results 936 identified were re‐entered. retrieved median 96%, 100% 99% for preoperative, intra‐operative postoperative variables, respectively. overall 95%. least accurate variable date diagnosis (50% perfect agreement), agreement rising 96% when near matches defined as correct ± 30 days included. Intra‐operative high quality, surgical complications including anastomotic leakage, where 97%. Conclusion first major Group's database.
