ABSTRACT
Abstract The survival after renal transplantation of patients with antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody ( ANCA )‐associated to systemic vasculitis is as good in other diseases, although most the reports are based on small numbers patients. Furthermore, it not known whether comorbidities (cardiovascular [ CV ] disease and cancer) more frequent than general population. We report our experience analysis published data this topic. outcome 49 ‐associated vessel was compared a control group. relapse rate 0.01 per patient year. Comparison revealed no difference long‐term outcome, mortality or incidence malignancies. In literature, at W egener's granulomatosis greater risk relapse. Taking own results together review we conclude that graft rates compare favorably those group recurrence very low there increase cancer mortality. Patients have higher rate.
