This study was performed assess effectiveness levofloxacin during autologous stem cell transplantation. Methods an observational who underwent transplantation, comparing received historical controls. Results A total 96 were included (46 control group and 50 levofloxacin). The median duration till onset first fever 11 d as compared 15 (p ≤ 0.001). incidence infectious complications higher without (4/46) than those with (1/50). empirical antibiotic use 10 14 < Conclusion Levofloxacin delayed spike fever, decreased septic complications, shortened empiric use, but its impact on organisms should be closely monitored.
