ABSTRACT
Coagulation disorders contribute to the development of livedoid vasculopathy (LV). Elevated plasma levels lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] are an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease and associated with hypercoagulable states. Increased serum Lp(a) have been reported in patients LV may important role pathogenesis LV.To investigate expression skin lesions circulating LV.Skin biopsy samples from 38 (27 women 11 men) active diagnosed as 9 normal (5 4 control without were evaluated by immunohistochemistry. Plasma analyzed immunoturbidimetry. We found that lesional expressed 10-fold higher immunostaining than controls. High observed patients. We did not find a correlation (P = .02) between LV.Increased suggests thrombo-occlusive this disease.
