ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT Pleomorphic adenoma (PA) is the most common salivary gland neoplasm worldwide (50%–70%). Most cases of PA are straightforward diagnoses. However, diagnosis may be challenging due to morphological diversity PAs, which in many caused by predominance one three components or presence metaplastic epithelium. We present case a 64‐year‐old male with history prostate cancer and right submandibular excision 16 years ago an unknown previous recent regrowth his mass surgical bed. The tumour showed predominant spindle cell morphology, cytokeratin‐positivity, variable expression myoepithelial markers cytology pathology specimens, novel inversion chromosome 8, LRP1B, PBRM1 TCF3 mutations.
