ABSTRACT
Duodenal endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is technically challenging because of anatomical specificities and, to date, has not been validated concerning the high rate complications such as perforation and delayed bleeding. In present study, risk factors for bleeding after duodenal ESD are presented with goal establishing preventive measures. We analyzed 63 patients non-ampullary superficial neoplasias treated by from April 2005 March 2014. To analyze ESD, we divided into a group non-bleeding group. verify various patient-, lesion-, treatment-related factors.Delayed was experienced in 11 (17.5%) Univariate analysis patient-related indicated no significant factor. lesion-related only closure Multivariate also identified (not done > done: P = 0.049) an independent factor significantly associated ESD. Hypertension (present absent: 0.055) showed non-significant tendency association multivariate analysis. This retrospective evaluation found that reduced Delayed might be prevented prophylactic closure.
