ABSTRACT
This paper reports on a study of perspectives rehabilitation needs by 33 people treated for upper gastrointestinal and gynaecological cancers. used focus groups informed grounded theory involved adult participants who had completed radical treatment at UK cancer centre. Patients were in the design. Findings indicate that these patients are likely to have ongoing there was poor awareness possible symptoms services. Novel findings include distinct adults cancers regarding their needs. surgical pathways, or longer hospital stays, better understanding services available them they accessed more easily ameliorate post-treatment symptoms. Furthermore not equally different pathways. A developed with core categories of: impacts person, adjustment after treatment, individualised tailored support information sources.
