Quality of life during chemotherapy and satisfaction with nursing care in Turkish breast cancer patients

ABSTRACT
This descriptive cross-sectional study aimed to evaluate quality of life for breast cancer patients (n = 105) undergoing chemotherapy, and assess their satisfaction with nursing care. It also explored relationships between life, care, demographic disease-related characteristics. Ethics approval this was provided. The research carried out October 2011 June 2012. Quality care were assessed using the Functional Assessment Cancer Therapy-General Scale, Memorial Symptom Scale Newcastle Satisfaction Nursing Scale. We found that emotional well-being area most negatively affected, reporting being afraid death, feeling sad worried about health. Patients overall quite satisfied they received at hospital. a positive correlation total scores on social family scores. Breast have fears concerns health need support during chemotherapy coping negative changes in well-being, physical functional well-being.
