ABSTRACT
Abstract A 37 year‐old female patient in whom the transthoracic echocardiography examination revealed dilatation of left heart chambers with ventricular ejection fraction 30% and moderate‐to‐severe mitral valve regurgitation was admitted to our hospital. On 2 DTEE examination, normal; however, on 3D images, clefts both anterior posterior leaflets were revealed. Isolated cleft without any other feature atrioventricular septal defect is uncommon. 2D has limited capability defining complex anatomic characteristics cleft. 3 allows visualize position, morphology, size, it important for surgical planning.
