ABSTRACT
This paper examines the effect of high‐speed internet on firm's productivity and worker's wage in China. We exploit a national policy reform devise difference‐in‐difference strategy to address endogeneity. find that significantly increases wage, estimate is larger for firms industries with high skill intensity more educated workers. provide suggestive evidence mechanism likely from increased use skill‐biased technology flattened management organization.
