ABSTRACT
To evaluate the impact of COVID-19 lockdown on adolescents with eating disorders (ED) and identify factors predicting ED behaviour.This study took place during an age-stratified for those under 20 years in Turkey. Participants completed a survey developed to effects behaviour, well-being quality life (QoL) additionally disorder examination questionnaire (EDE-Q), scales depression, anxiety obsessive-compulsive behaviour. The relationship between EDE-Q-global score other variables related was examined. Linear regression analysis performed examine predictive power these behaviour.Thirty-eight patients mean age 15.12 ± 1.56 were included study. Of participants, 42.1% reported feeling improvement symptomatology, 71.0% none or rare conflict parents due eating, 39.5% often always complying their meal plan. 92.0% agreed 'understanding value being healthy' stated realizing that 'they control' pandemic. participants 36.9% scored 'bad' both overall QoL. In stepwise depression had highest behaviour.Almost half felt majority parental conflict. However, less than plan compliance. As positive behaviour additional screening pandemic maybe warranted patients.
