Migraine and metabolic syndrome have been reported to coexist a marked degree, especially in women migraine patients, but the relationship between these two conditions is still unclear. This study was performed evaluate association of headache characteristics its comorbidities with (MetS) components female patients.A total 142 who fulfilled criteria International Classification Headache Disorders 2nd edition were recruited neurological outpatient department China. Anthropometrics, blood biochemistry transcranial Doppler sonography used for measurements vascular function.Of participants, 70.4% had one or more abnormalities 12.0% MetS. After adjustment age, residence, body mass index, waist-to-height ratio, smoking drinking history, chronic patients associated MetS [odds ratio (OR) = 5.342, P 0.032], when comorbid medication overuse (MOH), risk increased significantly (OR 12.68, 0.007).
