ABSTRACT
Abstract Landscapes and vegetation are critical factors in dispersion of exotic insects expansion their range. However, few studies have addressed how the surrounding landscape affects establishment insects. We assessed relationship between an lace bug Corythucha marmorata (Uhler) northern edge bug's expanded found that bugs showed variability density among populations. Urban areas had a positive effect, while natural forest negative effect on density, with buffer range 1–2 km. Moreover, abundance decreased distance from source population. Our results suggest landscapes urban may inhibit invasive feed plants growing human‐disturbed habitats.
