ABSTRACT
SummaryRenal haemorrhage in horses is a rare clinical condition that can have numerous causes. It is usually associated with haematuria and can be life‐threatening if the bleeding is severe. The case report by Hannan et al. in this issue describes a unique clinical manifestation of renal haemorrhage, referred to as Wunderlich syndrome. In this clinical commentary, an overview of other causes of renal bleeding will be presented.
