ABSTRACT
Phenotypic plasticity, that is multiple phenotypes produced by a single genotype in response to environmental change, has been thought play an important role evolution and speciation. Historically, knowledge about phenotypic plasticity resulted from the analysis of static traits measured at time point. New insight into adaptive nature can be gained understanding how organisms alter their developmental processes range environments. Recent advances statistical modeling functional data genetics allow us construct dynamic framework plastic form pattern. Under this framework, development, genetics, synthesized through bridges better address results variation process development via genetic alterations.
