Incidence of von Willebrand disease in Denmark, 1995‐2016: A cohort study

ABSTRACT
Information about temporal development of von Willebrand disease (VWD) incidence at a population level is scarce. To our knowledge, no study has described the VWD level.To estimate overall and annual rates hospital diagnosed in Denmark between 1995 2016 as well frequency treated bleeding episodes before after diagnosis.A registry-based cohort that included all Danish patients with first diagnosis Denmark, identified National Patient Registry through 1995-2016.We 1,035 VWD.
