ABSTRACT
The ObserVational survey of the Epidemiology, tReatment and Care MigrainE (OVERCOME; United States) study is a multicohort, longitudinal web that assesses symptomatology, consulting, diagnosis, treatment, impact migraine in States.Regularly updating population-based views States provides method for assessing quality ongoing care identifying unmet needs.The OVERCOME (US) 2018 cohort involved: (I) creating demographically representative sample US adults using quota sampling (n = 97,478), (II) people with active past year via validated diagnostic questionnaire and/or self-reported medical diagnosis 24,272), (III) consultation, treatment 21,143). current manuscript evaluated whether those low frequency episodic (LFEM; 0-3 monthly headache days) differed from other categories on outcomes interest.Among 21,143), 19,888 (94.1%) met our International Classification Headache Disorders, 3rd edition-based case definition 12,905 (61.0%) migraine.
