ABSTRACT
Platelets contain not only hemostatic factors but also many growth that play important roles in wound healing and tissue repair. have already been used for the promotion of regeneration clinical setting, such as dental implantation plastic surgery. Thrombocytopenia, which is frequently found patients with chronic liver disease cirrhosis, due to various causes decreased thrombopoietin production accelerated platelet destruction caused by hypersplenism. However, relationship between thrombocytopenia hepatic pathogenesis role platelets are poorly understood. In acute injury, it reported recruited contribute damage promoting induction chemotactic accumulation leukocytes liver, whereas or mediators released can a protective effect against injury. this review, we highlight recent accumulated knowledge concerning
