ABSTRACT
Identification of prognostic and predictive biomarkers for breast cancer is essential to better stratify patients treatment evaluate patient outcome. AT-rich interactive domain-containing protein 1B (ARID1B) implicated in cell proliferation, but its role tumorigenesis remains unclear.Immunohistochemical analysis ARID1B expression using tissue microarrays containing 156 invasive ductal carcinoma samples subsequent statistical data based on immunoreactivity score were performed examine the correlation between clinicopathological parameters expression. In-vitro assays also study cycle progression. Univariate revealed that high correlated closely with histological grade (P = 0.045) size 0.043) cancer. These findings confirmed by multivariate analysis. Notably, increased was frequently detected aggressive triple-negative subtypes 0.039) associated decreased 5-year disease-free survival rate. Lastly, MDA-MB-231 cells reduced activity displayed a delay G1 S phase transition consequently showed decrease proliferation compared controls < 0.001).ARID1B potentially serves as valuable biomarker well therapeutic target
