ABSTRACT
Noncultured epidermal cell suspension (NCES) is an effective surgical modality for stable vitiligo which involves transplantation of the basal layer cells onto dermabraded vitiliginous patch. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) has growth factors may stimulate melanocyte migration and proliferation keratinocytes fibroblasts. The objective this study was to compare extent repigmentation achieved by NCES suspended in PRP with that phosphate buffered saline (PBS).Twenty-one patients at least two lesions comparable size were included. patches randomized receive or PBS. Postoperatively after 1 week, given heliotherapy 15 minutes daily. At 6 months follow-up, mean area method arm 75.6 ± 30% SD non-PRP 65 34% (P = 0.0036). Patient satisfaction visual analogue scale also showed better results 0.001). Assessment three independent observers side both 3 months.Suspending can result significantly greater patient than suspending
