ABSTRACT
We searched for genetic alterations of the cyclin D1 and E genes in 45 human gastric carcinoma tissues. Expression mRNA protein was also analyzed eight them by Northern Western blots immunohistochemical staining. The gene amplified 3-10 fold seven cancer tissues (15.6%), which six were advanced cancers. All cases with amplification displayed lymph node metastasis. Moreover, case overexpressed protein. One cell lines, MKN-7, shared amplification, all lines expressed high levels even without amplification. Amplification not observed any or lines. These results suggest that overexpression play an important role abnormal growth progression carcinoma.
