ABSTRACT
A case of disseminated malignant melanoma with generalized melanosis the skin and other tissues, melanuria, melanoptysis, a dark brown blood serum is reported. The reticuloendothelial system contained large amounts melanin pigment. Lysis degenerating pigment‐loaded cells in peripheral vessels seemed to be considerable importance pigmentation tissues. Focal capillary endothelium perivascular deposition pigment macrophages and, occasionally, cells, was noted. Single cell metastases contributed most organs, but were not found sections skin. Melanoptysis (black sputum) due diffuse infiltration lungs, secondary bronchial epithelial cells. In this ‘glomerular emboli’ recorded by previous authors consisted debris. damage glomeruli affected emboli described allowing access debris (including granules) into glomerular tubules.
