ABSTRACT
A pharmacokinetic and bioavailability study of spectinomycin was conducted in healthy broiler chickens following administration a single (50 mg/kg bw) intravenous (i.v.), intramuscular (i.m.) subcutaneous (s.c.) dose oral doses 50 100 bw. Following i.v. administration, the elimination half‐life ( t 1/2 β ), mean residence time MRT volume distribution at steady‐state V d(ss) based on terminal phase d(z) ) total body clearance Cl B were 1.46 ± 1.10 h, 1.61 1.05 0.26 0.009 L/kg, 0.34 (0.30–0.38) L/kg 2.68 0.017 mL/min/kg respectively.
