ABSTRACT
Abstract The behaviour of Tomato cultures from known resistant and susceptible cultivars lines was examined for callus growth on culture media containing increasing concentrations Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici race 1 filtrate phytoalexin synthesis elicited by cell wall components. A strict correlation found between in vivo resistance to the fungus vitro hypersensitive response induction. On other hand tolerance toxic does not seem this case a good indicator pathogen.
