ABSTRACT
Abstract The present investigation dealt with the effect of two granular systemic nematicides aldicarb and carbofuran, individually in combination 100 mg · 1 ‐1 GA 3 , on plant growth root knot formation C. frutescens var. California Wonder. Both were applied as a seed‐dip treatment. increased seed germination seedling growth. All concentrations (2 to 20 g a.i. ) when independently, reduced length epicotyl hypocotyl. However, application these showed antagonistic behaviour. treated seedlings inoculated 1000 nematode larvae Meloidogyne incognita . Vegetative parameters studied 15 days after transplantation. A (100 different synergistic plants. Root index plants was found be increasing both nematicides. Maximum reduction observed at highest dose (20 nematicides, Proteolytic activities decreased carbofuran. Supplementation resulted an increase enzyme Toxic residues concentration whereas it
