ABSTRACT
Summary In an attempt to establish the normal values, bronchial alveolar lavage (BAL) of portions right upper lobe was done during fiberoptic bronchoscopy in 18 Beagle dogs various ages. Albumin, IgA and IgG were identified BAL fluids. The respiratory cells obtained were, order decreasing occurrences, macrophages, lymphocytes, epithelial neutrophils. No age‐related changes found content immunoglobulins or differential cell counts cells. Bacterial cultures invariably contaminated with resident flora tract. Therefore, determining etiology pulmonary infections, results such should be interpreted caution. As aid diagnosis diseases dogs, analysis fluid components could helpful when compared findings healthy animals.
