ABSTRACT
Pulmonary tumor thrombotic microangiopathy (PTTM) is characterized by widespread fibrocellular intimal proliferation of the small pulmonary arteries and arterioles in patients with metastatic Carcinoma. Microscopic emboll have frequently occurred malignant tumors; however, few cases PTTM been reported. A rare case a patient gastric adenocarcinoma who presented acute dyspnea lethal respiratory failure described. Histologically, diffuse fibromuscular thickening cauring luminal stenosis obstruction but containing rather cancer cells was observed arterioles. These findings were consistent PTTM. Atthough phenomenon, should be considered differential diagnosis or hypertension carcinoma.
