International Nursing Review 59 , 362–368 Background: Breast cancer is the most common form of among women. Women encounter many psychosocial stresses as well physical problems. Aim: To capture meaning living from unique perspective and through experiences women that were explained their own words. Methods: A phenomenological approach was used to explore for The patients' feelings investigated using semi‐structured interviews probing questions 13 between 34 67 years old. Findings: participants losing something important, lack confidence, fear, emotional dizziness need be supported negative aspects helped new life positive this event. Conclusion Implications: Understanding phenomenon ‘living cancer’ seems crucial nurses help find themselves in confronting consequences changes associated illness.
