ABSTRACT
Abstract A meta‐analysis is used to study the average wage effects of on‐the‐job training. This shows that reported effect training, corrected for publication bias, 2.6 per cent course. The analyses reveal a substantial heterogeneity between training courses, while in studies based on instrumental variables and panel estimators are substantially lower than estimates techniques do not correct selectivity issues. Appropriate methodology quality data turn out be crucial determine returns.
